                        A Message From The Principal

I am so happy and proud to have been chosen as Ohlone's principal! I originally joined the Ohlone family as a third grade teacher in room 11 in 2006. In 2011 I became the Academic Coordinator, and while I missed being in the classroom, I loved the opportunity to work with the teachers, students and families to bring the best educational program possible to Ohlone. This new opportunity is the most exciting yet! Ohlone is a wonderful school with the best students, parents, teachers, and staff anywhere!

I am happy to introduce our new Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Heidi Jacobson. Mrs. Jacobson has been the After School Program Coordinator at HA Hyde and Mac Quiddy schools. We are very excited to have her join us.

We are thrilled to announce that school will be full-time and in-person for everyone when we start Thursday August 12th! We are following the safety protocols as required by the California Department of Health for public schools. Students will need to wear a mask when they are indoors. Please also send a water bottle with your child since drinking fountains are closed. Please visit the PVUSD Covid-19 Prevention Plan page on the website to see the other precautions and improvements that have been made to the buildings and ventilation system to increase safety.

If there are any families that would prefer online learning for health or other reasons, please see the PVUSD website for the Virtual Academy.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 728-6977.
